COMMUNICATION IN ENGLISH COURSES ECONOMIC, BUSINESS AND BANKING AND FINANCE LANGUAGE
Mastery of the participants of the four communication skills (communicative skills) – reading, writing, listening, speaking. Sustaining a conversation in English with a partner or in a group in different communication contexts. Written communication of several types (e-mails, official and informal correspondence). The uptake and correct use of the fundamental concepts of English grammar.
The program is dedicated to all those interested in improving the standard of English and vocabulary enrichment in this language.
Depending on the contents of the module, it addresses in a wider or narrower sense the issues of grammar, then pursues progressively developing the oral skills and the writing ones, using the usual terminology and/or the one of specialty: economic and banking and finance language.
Emilia Frunza is a Training Manager within the Romanian Banking Institute. She has over 10 years of experience in organizing and coordinating training programs for the banking and financial sector. She has organized and coordinated the City University of Seattle MBA Program in Romania for 5 years. She has also been in charge with organizing the ACCA (Associate Chartered Certified Accountant), ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) Programs.
She is teaching English language courses for the banking and financial sector within the Romanian Banking Institute.
Emilia holds a Bachelor Degree in Financial Management and she is a Certified Trainer since 2010.
PERIOD and DURATION
BEGINNER MODULE – BASIC ENGLISH FOR ECONOMICS– 64 hours, 32 meetings, 16 weeks
INTERMEDIARY MODULE – BUSINESS ENGLISH – 64 hours, 32 meetings, 16 weeks
ADVANCED MODULE – ESSENTIAL ENGLISH FOR BANKING – 64 hours, 32 meetings, 16 weeks
A programme of study shall be preceded by an evaluation in writing (Placement Test) and oral assessment of the level of knowledge of the language (oral communication/fluency) of the students, which will be divided into groups (10-15 people) as homogenous as possible. Throughout the course there are intermediate tests to assess progress and move to higher levels of study.
At the end of a module the participants must pass a test which validates the writing skills and the oral expression//oral interaction.
Graduates receive a graduation certificate accompanied by a descriptive supplement of the professional competencies acquired, nationally recognized by the ITM and in the EU as a result of apostilization!
