2014: NEW FISCAL CODE REGULATIONS THAT IMPACT THE FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY
The seminar aims to support staff with responsibilities of auditors and financial – accounting, providing a review of the major changes to the Fiscal Code in 2013 and discuss the changes expected for 2014, with implications for the financial services industry.
Employees in the financial and accounting departments of banks and NFBIs, middle management of these institutions and other stakeholders.
- Closing fiscal year 2013: cases, common problems, controversies etc.
- Tax losses and their use (particular cases for 2010 and 2013)
- Deduction of machine costs
- Changes for 2014:
-Changes regarding the profit tax (carrying forward the unused sponsorship, consolidation of the profits associated to the permanent establishments, using the interest carried forward for reorganizations and others) and the tax on dividends (shortening the retention period to qualify for exemption)
-Changes for the personal income tax and the social contributions
-Non-residents – the main provisions concerning deductions from the incomes paid to non-residents
Mirela Paunescu is a Chartered Certified Accountant and she has over 10 years of experience in delivering practical seminars on Tax, Accounting and Audit. She is also an Auditor, a Tax Advisor, a certified trainer for CAFR and a certified trainer by CNFPA. Mirela holds a PhD awarded by the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) and is the author of numerous specialized articles. She is also an experienced and active practitioner inthe industry.
Mirela is an ACCA lecturer, for paper F1 – Accountant in Business, paper F6 – Taxation Romanian Variant and paper P5 – Advanced Performance Management. She is specialized in delivering seminars for financial institutions and companies, lecturing on the updates of Accounting Regulations and Romanian Tax Regulations.
The course lasts for 4 hours.

RBI will hold the course at its headquarters, providing specialized lecturers, course support, required material resources and caffe break.

The payment will be made to the Romanian Banking Institute account number RO07BRMA0700 0708 9470 0000 opened at Banca Românească-SMB, at least four days before the course starts (please specify the name of the delegates and the course title on the payment order).
Where a participant announces his/her withdrawal 1-2 days before the start of the course, a percentage of 17% from the fee shall be retained.
Where a participant announces withdrawal from the course at the starting date, the registration fee cannot be refunded. Any participant may be replaced by a colleague from the same company, in which case there is no penalty.
