Applicable seminar on the evaluation of non-performance exposures in accordance with the new international standards: integrated perspective on prudential and accounting framework (COREP, FINREP, IFRS)


The seminar aimed at deepening the new requirements  relative to the assessment and  management of nonperforming exposures stipulated in international standards: EBA ITS, COREP and FINREP and IFRS 39 / IFRS 9.

An important aspect will be the presentation of correlation between COREP and FINREP, focusing on the interference with the accounting prudential framework.

In addition, an important point will be represented by the new challenges of IFRS 9 in comparison with IFRS 39, given the impact on provisioning framework.

Participants will receive valuable support in deepening standards on Prudential and Accounting framework (COREP, FINREP IFRS) in order achieve effective compliance.

Cristina Morar Triandafil, PhD, is an expert within a large European banking institution. This new professional challenge added the segment of financial groups to her competences in supervision and prudential regulation. Cristina holds a PhD in Economy; she is a Chartered Banker – CIOBS UK,. For 6 years, she worked at the National Bank of Romania, as an expert in the Regulation and Licensing Department. All this time, she was involved in transposing the European directives for capital requirements into national regulation.

Additionally, she contributed to several technical opinions within the Working Groups at the European Council and the European Banking Authority, in regard to the development of EBA Technical Regulation Standards, which facilitate implementing CRD 4 at the European level.

As an associate lecturer of the Romanian Banking Institute, Cristina has been teaching open/ in house seminars and coaching programs for top managers since 2009.


31 October 2019, between 10.00 – 18.00      

RBI will hold the course on its premises, providing specialised lecturers, course materials and catering services during the training day.

At the end of the course, participants will be given a certificate, issued by RBI (under the aegis of the founding members: NBR and RBA), with 7 CPD credits.
